CAMPING

There are both Camping sites and Rent-A-Tent facilities available to book in Hughenden during the festival:

Festival Camping

The festival offers ticketed powered and unpowered sites with hot showers and toilets. There is an allocated area for free camping, however there are no facilities at this site so you must be fully self contained with your own toilet, shower and grey-water collection facilities. Generators may be used at the unpowered sites between the hours of 8am and 6pm. If you are planning to use a generator, the camping area is large so be mindful to distance yourself respectfully from other campers.

Non-Powered Site
1 Night – $16.20
3 Nights – $41.95

Powered Site
3 Nights – $83.35
Additional night Thursday 02 May $26.50
Additional night Monday 06 May $26.50

When you arrive please check in at the Hughenden Visitor Information Centre to collect your camping pass which must be visibly displayed at your site. The centre is open from 9am-5pm. If you arrive after hours head to your camping site and check in the following day to collect your camping pass.

Rent-a-Tent Camping

Tents are set up in the prime position along the shaded banks of the Flinders River with access to toilets and showers. The area has free BBQs , picnic tables, hot showers and toilets. Far enough away to not be bothered by festival noise, but still only a 500m walk to the festival site.

The Rent-A-Tents include a camp stretcher and mattress for each occupant, and a lantern for basic lighting. If you don’t have other camping essentials like chairs, tables and sleeping bags, there is the option to add them to your hire.

Standard tents measure 3m x 3m internally, plus an awning extends 1.5m off the front. Each tent comfortably fits up to 3 adults. The larger tents are 4.2m x 3m with an awning off the front and can accommodate 4 people.

For three nights (Friday May 3 – Monday May 6):

1 person – $275
2 person – $320
3 person – $360
4 person – $485
