Come along and join the fun and learn some basic line dance choreography. No partners are required. Ages 10 and above.
After such successful dance workshops in 2024 and 2025, we welcome back Melissa Wyatt, owner and studio principal of Townsville’s premier dance studio – Dancensations. Melissa will be offering line dancing classes for beginners and country swing and sway classes across the festival weekend. All classes can be attended as a single person or couple.
Melissa began her dance life at the age of 6 at the Ann Roberts School of Dance learning classical ballet, contemporary and tap. In 2000 Melissa began competitive ballroom dancing and competed successfully in the amateur and professional field for 16 years.
So polish up your dance moves ready for the dinner under the stars, the barn dance or your next social gathering! Come along for some line dancing fun or learn some country swing moves to be a stand out on the dancefloor!
