Yirendali Cultural Performers

The Yirendali Dance Team is a proud collective of young performers dedicated to preserving and celebrating the cultural traditions of the Yirendali people. Under the guidance and leadership of respected cultural custodian Robert Duncan, the team is nurtured through the sharing of traditional dance practices, stories, language, and customs that have been passed down through generations.
Based in Brisbane, the group brings together Yirendali youth who are learning, living, and embracing their cultural identity through dance. Their performances pay tribute to ancestral knowledge while empowering the next generation to carry their heritage forward with strength and pride.
