2026 Art Competition

This year we’re expanding our sculpture competition to welcome all art forms – from painting and photography to mixed media and beyond. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, local or visiting, we invite you to be inspired by the theme Outback Skies.

Prizes include $1,000 for the Overall Winner and $500 for the People’s Choice Award.

Here in Flinders Shire, we love telling a yarn or two through art. You’ll find creative pieces scattered across our region, each one sharing the stories and spirit of our community.

All entries will be showcased during the Festival of Outback Skies weekend, celebrating the phenomenal beauty of our skies.
