You can build your own lantern at the festival to be part of this special parade. There will be free Lantern Making Workshops at the showgrounds both on Saturday and Sunday. You will need to be at the Boat Ramp by 6pm if you wish to take part in this parade. The parade route is approximately 1 km long and the path is wheel chair accessible and friendly.
The lanterns will be released onto the Lake from the jetty on the eastern side of the lake. The best viewing area will be on the north-west side of the lake.
